...here is an interesting Vickers luger that got some Siam stampings along the way. Nice project luger for the budding refinish artist...

It's actually not too bad and a good example of an honest Dutch luger.

Hope one of our members wins it, I would not over-restore this one as most Dutch lugers that managed to survive service looked like this one

I totally agree. As you say, even sans grips it is in as good or better condition than a lot of Dutch Lugers. The Dutch guns saw extensive service under really tough conditions for a firearm and this one didn't come through too badly. The Siamese markings make it particularly interesting.
