Post Re-Nickel magazine

I have a WWI era magazine that was rusty. After removing the rust there's no nickel plating left. Anyone know where I can get it done?

These folks sell kits that you can do your own plating at home...

make sure your metal prep is exceptional... Good luck, and let us know how you make out.

Personally, I don't think replating a magazine is worth the effort, and won't increase the collector value. Just keep the one you have clean and lubricated, and if you want one that is originally plated... save your pennies and buy one that will have collector value.

Thanks, John. I wasn't worried about collector value. I already have a couple of other nickel plated mags. I was just wanting to keep the rust off. I may just blue it instead.

About any outfit that plates should be able to re-plate.
