Okay guys... here is an extract from the Luger blueprints addressing the issues you have brought up... I have created it in white on black to be a little easier to read... I hope this answers your barrel questions...

Thanks John for the print info. I have the "Uzi" blank threaded,chambered, and installed to the barrel receiver. As I don't have the extractor grove cut yet,I removed the extractor from the breach block prior to assembly. Which brings up the question,could the headspace be checked through the now open(no extractor), gap at the top of the breach block?
