FOUND!-Kreighoff # 1002 - Page 2

Pete, Just looked at this stream again. My friend's Kreighoff was a 1943 but he doesn't remember the s/n. The time period was 1994/5. Sorry for the delay, I just don't look down this column. Jeff

Thanks for the reply. Too bad we cannot add your friend's serial number to the lost John D. is keeping and that this pistol had had one round of refinishing help...

I know that I had a photo of an uncorroded takedown lever with a hole in the center of the knob... I will keep my eyes open for it as I browse, but can dedicate the time to search specifically for it since we are talking several thousand photographs and most are not sorted...
