Nice 1920/1920 Double Date w/Holster Spotted...
Stopped by my local gun shop today.
I picked up a really nice 1920's DWM Commerical, police luger in 9mm with sear safety, with the remanent of a magazine safety, and unit markings on the front strap (for a bit less than $ 800). Gun is all matching, original with proper magazine and original finish at 95% or a bit better. Ran out of time before the shop closed, so will need to wait until next week to do the C&R and registration paperwork...I will post photos next Saturday. While I was there I spotted a really nice 1920/1920 DWM double date with sear safety and original period hoslter for around $ 975.00, asking. Holster is in great shape ! They will not separate the two, apart... If any folks are interested, call Mike Chance's shop, Contra Costa Collectible Firearms. Telephone number and address, etc. is listed on their web site : http://www.cccfirearms.com/ I am not connected with this shop and have no financial interest in this sale. Just thought it looked like a very decent buy... Most of their lugers never make it onto their web page...I suspect Orv Reichert gets first crack at anything decent that comes through the shop. Just kidding Orv ! He and the shop Owner are old, family friends... |
