Newbie Question on Gripstrap
Sorry, guess knowing the type of gun "would" help. Problem is I'm not sure. Let's see, DWM on toggle, as stated A.S. 203 on gripstrap with 12 and 63 stamped out. There's 1940 stamped over chamber, 42 beneath barrel, with 53 waffenapt also on barrel. The gun is non-import; also has a stock lug. Apart from one part marked 66, the rest of the gun's parts are marked 62. Also, I cannot find a serial on the reciever.

Hello and welcome:
It might help if you would tell us what type of pistol it is that you have. Thanks, |

Cadads
The A.S.203 signifies Artillery School weapon no 203. This is a Weimar Era stamp. Based on your limited description this Weimar era frame is matched to a Nazi era receiver dated 1940. Jan |
