Chris, The marking on the front sight base during this period is usually an "N". An exc rig. with the minor exception that the owner shortened the cleaning rod (pouch) leather, so that it would sit low enough for him to close the holster. TH

Sorry Tom I must contradict: The cleaning rod (leather) pouch still has it´s original length. It is not shorted.
The length of the pouches is the same on all German 1906 and 1910 commercial holsters.
