When I see a gun advertised as mostly matching I’m thinking maybe the takedown latch or the rear toggle pin is not the same number, so to me mostly matching means one or a couple of small parts. When I hear non matching I automatically assume the frame and receiver doesn’t match or the toggle doesn’t match, the bigger parts. Same with rifles mismatched are ones with bolts or stocks and or receivers and barrels that are different but mostly matching might only have a couple of small pieces that are different like a floor plate or a barrel band, parts of that sort. It’s when someone advertises a gun as “All matching except “ and goes on to list the parts that don’t is what gets me. Kiwi you made a good observation.

Wow! 4 grand, must be a pistol off of the Tirpitz, or maybe the Bismarck.
