Default 1917 DWM at Legacy

98%?

I jumped up when I first saw 98% DWM advertised at $1695.
I think Tom must be slipping. His condition evaluations are usually accurate or even conservative.
Maybe it is a typo?

Well, 98% references amount of remaining blue. From what I saw there is just some rubbing, edge ware. The issue is, it isn't a pretty blue. As he says, "While there is very little actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation on the whole gun, heaviest on the grip straps. Some rust under the grips. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips. The condition of the bore is poor - worn rifling with minor pitting throughout." So it is really a dog, even though it has most of its finish. So no typo.
