Cabela's and Bass Pro gun law augmentation
Went to Cabela's today to pick up 110 year old firearm. Colofornia now has a 3 day waiting period when buying a firearm, but the law exempts CR firearms. Cabela's and Bass Pro shops have gone a step ahead by themselves and made it a 3 day waiting period for all guns. So my exempt, CR gun is still there for 3 more days.. Last time I go to either store. We have enough enemies of the 2nd without the damn stores making up laws of their own.

Well, that sure bites. I wonder what the store believes they are going to accomplish with a three day delay?

California has a 10 day waiting period. I have had my FFL 03 denied by the big stores before and had to purchase as a new firearm. Store policy is so bad in California gun owners accept it with the saying “their store their rules, don’t like it shop some where else”.

That's one way to look at it. Kinda like, "it is what it is" Or a lot of us could complain and not do business with these stores and hit them where it hurts, in the wallet. I'll bet they would change those stupid policies quick. Kinda like Budwiser.
