Arrow Luger holster: 1913 re-work/re-purpose of Reichs Revolver holster

Early on surplus Reichsrevolver holsters were worked into "luger" holsters, both for the 4" and 8" versions.

Other's I've seen utilized both the front and back sections of the revolver holster; this one only uses the rear flat and has a "new" moulded front.

Dated 1913 and done by Meer & A.Bitzsch, in Leipzig-Gohliz - if I'm reading the stamping correctly.
This holster came with a recent acquisition of a nice, matching 1914 Erfurt P 08.

Needs some attention to the strap stitching; some missing and some badly repaired.

It is a Saxon alteration of a former Reichsrevolver holster M/85 according the 1910 dated order for not mounted units. Maker is Meier & Abitzsch, Leipzig Gohlis. Saxon holsters like this one are not often seen.
