Default Early (flat) Extractor Removal?

I've done a fairly thorough search and can't find anything on removing the extractor on a 1900 AE. I'm used to the extractors with pins, but not these. I don't want to try anything I shouldn't, so I would appreciate someone telling me how it's done. Thanks.

OK, I figured it out. You need to push up with a small screwdriver on the hook of the extractor about 1/16 of an inch and then pry the extractor out forward. There is no coil spring - the extractor is its own spring. The back end of the extractor is a post that recedes into a hole in the breech block. There is a round stud on the bottom of the extractor about 1/8 inch back from the hook, and it is that stud that you need to move up until it can come free from its hole in the slot of the breech block to let the extractor slide forward.
