Big reason I would never use one as a carry piece.
I usually only carry on occasion, but if I do,there is one up the spout. Most modern pieces are designed to do this safely. Someone who wants to depend on a relic from the past to save his life or others is not taking it seriously. I have a sad story about a Marine who died with his hand on his operating rod. |
