C96 on TV show
Was watching a short on TCM last night, spy stuff, US agents in South America. Flimed during the war, fighting the Nazi's. Near the end the Nazi's are about to be arrested and the firefight starts. This Mauser was pulled out of a safe. Doubt if it's a real 20 shot version, probably made up for the film. None the less I was surprised, had to snap a pic and share.

Richard,
I found it on IMDB, it's a "Crime Does Not Pay" short. I searched their site for the lead Van Johnson, it was a War Bonds drive movie from 1942. Link: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0034747...m_flmg_act_124 G2 |
