Thanks. That's what I saw as well. The left frame rail being cut for the safety, with a portion still in the slot. However, the grip panel is not cut for the mag safety, which, if it were original, would be. I do have a penchant for the police guns, for some obscure reason I'm not able to put my finger on.

9mm luger ammunition, 9 x 19mm, is readily available again.
It may have been a little tough to find "cheap" in the last year or so though; around here a prior/usual ball ammo normal price of $0.20 per round topped out at $1 per round, and is back down to about $0.40 now- and still headed lower.

Sure it is. Like a roller coaster it hits bottom and immediately starts winding upwards again. Think supply shortages, labor shortages and INFLATION!Your dollar gets less purchasing power DAILY. In these times..and with the lousy "leadership" we have, I have been reading the occoasional "money" article. Most sensible ones say the situation is only going to get worse. They advise buying all sorts of things with any spare money. Things that will hold value as the dollar loses. Cigarettes? Ammo, food. Commodities. Gold, silver. Pay down debt. Something to think about. I ain't no prepper but it pays to noodle this some.

You're right Doubs. I completely missed the cut in the side plate. Old eyes, i guess.
