Test
It let me load an attachment what kind and how big? It will shrink photos, but not a pdf and some others I assume you went to 'manage attachments"? |

Note that this site does not use SSL certificates.
Some browsers have security settings that will stop content (files / images etc) from moving to or from sites without SSL. Check Chrome settings. Click on "Not secure" up on the URL line on the left, then click "Site Settings". Try "allow insecure content". Alternatively, try another browser like Firefox or Brave.

Try restarting your computer Robert ... often times a restart will mysteriously sort these 'glitches'.

I would guess its a setting / security set on your end, as I have not noticed any changes. Updates happen frequently.

@schutzen-jager: I think your computer tightened up its internet and browser security, as have most of our computer, particularly in the last month. You probably need to check your browser preferences.
I had to allow "pop-ups" specifically for this web site before the attachment window would appear again. I uploaded a photo just last night. I would also recommend using a different browser - they all work a little differently and some are easier to manage. |

Hard to say - I know its frustrating - workarounds are never fun.
I'm just guessing it happens to be an update (possibly this site) and its hard to judge. Updates on your browser is fairly important, not updating has security risks, but also, if sites have updated, you may lose functionality. Its hard to say. Since you were able to upload, it seems odd. Can you try uploading here? Maybe it was just a glitch? |
