Blue guns Luger replica
Hope no lugers were hurt making this trainer/holster mold. It is made by Blue Guns co. with lots of very good detail for what thats worth. I needed a holster keeper and looked at many resin examples and this one is cheaper better made and not brittle. you can shop around and find discounts through different vendors, this one was about 48 from KnifeKits.com.

Funny that they used a VoPo as the master for the mould.
Even weirder. We cannot obtain these legally in Holland because of some crazy bits in our gun laws. They will not even issue an exemption for them. So I can own a real gun, a deactivated real gun, a CE marked toy gun, but not a resin cast copy of one. |

We used Blue Guns for training purposes in defensive tactics. Glock and such. Unusual that they would make a copy of the P.08.

I love your Blue Luger !
Best new Luger I've seen in a while! (it wouldn't be right in yellow or orange) |

I have to agree with G2 here ... as the primary purpose of the blue Luger in connection to the KnifeKits site is that of an aid to making KYDEX and HOLSTEX holsters.
I'm sorry but I can't imagine a Luger in a KYDEX or HOLSTEX holster. ... to me that is sacrilegious. All the same I would love one of these cool models but they are probably illegal here under recent new gun laws ... your not alone Vlim.

I had a custom holster maker make me several holsters a few years back. Two were for my Star BM's, a left & right. He had a Colt Officers model Blue Gun, which turned out to be exactly right. Makes you wonder what Star was thinking.
The other two were for a S&W Model 15-2 K-frame with the raised front sight rib and target rear sight but with the 2" barrel. He had a 4" K-frame Blue Gun but without the rib/sight combo, which was important to the holster. I bought the K-frame Blue Gun and made a faux rib/sight for it. Attached it and sent it on. No pics, never thought about it. The holsters fit my 2" bbl 38 Special very well, although one was made the way he wanted and not the way I wanted, so I would not recommend him or buy from him again (words were exchanged). But I thought the workmanship was excellent, and he got a free Blue Gun out of it.

replica
I had no idea that this would be illegal anywhere, never really gave it a thought. I guess with a paint job this could fool somebody from a distance. In Vlim's case its pretty bizarre what you can do and not do. More bureaucratic bologna, come think of it bologna is what you get to eat when you go to jail, how appropriate.

At least we get to attach stock lugs to any Luger than will take them. Just not the blue ones.
