Default Matching number parts on 1906 Navy

I know it must be on the forum somewhere but cannot find it. What parts are numbered on a 1906 Navy altered? Thanks

Found the matching number locations. I'm quite sure I posted this Navy s/n before 5396a Back strap marked WW6121. Looks matching except the toggle train is from another 1906 # 79, and the sideplate # looks to be 25 or 29. Guess it would be near impossible to find a #69 sideplate for a Navy. LOL Might ask Thor to restore it seeing it is most likely thought of as a shooter now, but I never have, nor will I shoot it. But it looks quite nice as it is. It's the lower navy in my Avatar.

Save your money Bill, your gun won't be worth any more after refinishing, besides, it looks quite nice as is.

Thanks Norme, You are right, it does look nice as it is. Just dislike the mismatched side plate bluing. I doubted a restoration would bring any higher value seeing I doubt my navy would be worth more than $1,500 as it is now, Refinishing would do little more. Thanks again.

It might be worth checking with Ted to see if refinishing the side plate by itself, just to get it to match color tones of the rest, is something he would do.

I'd certainly cough up $1,500 for a mismatched Navy shooter...if I had the chance and the money.
