what ever you have read in the previous posts, I think there are plenty of people willing to pay $1000 to $1200 for your Luger & holster. No matter that markings are wrong or not there, it is still a darn nice looking pistol. By the way, they don't make them now and haven't for some time.

No one said the markings were wrong, inconsistent maybe, but not "wrong"; nor that the pistol had no value.

"Collector value" is a nebulous concept for sure; value to any individual "collector" is in what appeals to him. JMHO.
