Edward Tinker -- Thank you, sir!
Hello Edward,
I just received my latest Luger from Ralph Shattuck. It is a minty G-date Luger and I could not be happier. Thank you so much for your previous e-mail advising me that I needn't wait for Ralph to publish a new list, but to call him directly for the gun I desired. I was under the misconception that Ralph sold only from his list. He said he would not be able to publish a new list until at least the end of summer, but he had a mint G-code available and did I want it? Not only yes, but hell yes! I now have it in my possession and am extremely pleased with it, except that I had hoped the strawing would be more visible over greater areas of the small parts. The bluing is mint so I guess the strawing just doesn't hold up after 67 years unless the gun is kept in a vacuum chamber. Less the slight honest wear, this one is my favorite yet and I'm very satisfied with it. I owe you my thanks. So, thank you! JIMBO |
