Regarding Straw~
Does straw treated pieces fade with age? Is there a way to best preserve your gold color?? Eric

Yes. No, short of sealing the gun or parts in a non-oxygen environment, over time the gold color will fade. With proper handling and care, the fading will not be noticeable in your lifetime unless it is left in open storage in bright sunlight.
