Luger Sale
I have a large number of Lugers for sale, (with the exception of the two spy Lugers) including drum magazines, holsters, etc. However, I have no idea what they are worth. Is there a central index where I can find out what I have and what they are valued at?
Many thanks. |

You will need to do some "homework" before you can id your lugers, let along figure some price/value. A good place to start would be the stickies here for info on what pictures to take and the basic questions to answer for evaluation.

I am guessing the two 'spy' lugers are actually blank toggle - which was the Riffe contract and although they were trying to hide who made them, they ended up not being sold and into army and police service in Germany.

If you take pictures and upload them, people here can help you identify them.
There a lots of reference books with values, but the condition and function are hard to evaluate, even in a good photo. There are lots of examples here, so look around. It's worth you time to get them appraised by more than one source. Good luck ! |

You can always compare what you have to photos at Simpsons Ltd., Legacy, and search completed auctions at Gunbroker. The dealers are full retail (mark up 25%-50%) but it should give you a ballpark. Reading the FAQ or posting photos here can help you ID what you have
