Default 42 byf mag

New to Lugers....were the bakelite magazines numbered to correspond to a certain Luger? I see FXO with a dirty bird underneath and a 37 underneath that. Gun is 1818# thank you!

Hi Luke,
Most magazines with the bakelite bases were un-numbered with the exception of those for Ku Lugers. The Ku Lugers can be identified by the letters Ku preceding the serial number.

The unnumbered black bakelite base FXO magazines are considered "matching" for a 42 byf.

Take Don's advice and download a copy of our FAQ PDF. It makes a good portable reference too...
