Out of curiosity I just now compared the two. I don't have a micrometer but I do have a quality machinist's scale. I estimate PPU is .065" longer. It will be interesting to here your results with the micrometer.

I misspoke and have a digital Vernier Caliper, I think I could have eye-balled the difference.

I only had one box of Fiocchi after today's trip to range. Also the Fiocchi is FMJ, originally I had Soft Point but went through all that.

Fiocchi after measuring 17 rounds averaged at 28.52mm
PPU, 3 boxes, 10 from each box was averaged at 29.52

So in this case the PPU is 1 mm longer than the Fiocchi.

Results TBD as I only shot Fiocchi today and had arguably no problems.
