if you really want to age the leather and don't mind looking odd. just strap the empty holster on your hip after work and wear it for after work and weekends every where you go and while doing yard work, working on cars etc. heck keep it on in bed too.
or watch some you tube videos how we used to break in our kids new softball gloves. jim |

Well, it seems you guys are very much against repro holsters and also saying genuine WW2 holsters can be bought for, say, $100. So, who has a nice holster that is not falling apart for sale?

Tom,
look on ebay there are many cheaper original holsters there, but you have to keep looking. You can create a search that will email you when a "luger holster" is listed. Bargain holsters on ebay are not going to last long, and no one is likely to advise you of a real deal- they will buy it themselves! There is a link below to a $50 bulgarian luger holster, there are some nicer ones for up to 100$; and a good swiss holster for 100 listed now too. I don't think anyone said you could get a "nice" holster for $100! You will get a well used one with some issues. Bill Wylon on this board has sold some nice holsters for $150 , you might pm him. https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-WW2...0AAOSw1LRaz48W And one on GB: https://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-WW2...0AAOSw1LRaz48W

who has a nice holster that is not falling apart for sale? Tom, I think it might be unrealistic to find a NICE original holster for a C note. Up your ante just a little..it's NOT spent money after all. Just invested. Get something you won't have any trouble selling later on.
OH! Don's a great guy but please ignore his advice on this, trust me, buying a Bulgarian holster would more foolish than buying a repro. Wait it out..something decent and GERMAN will appear.
