DWM 1916 with interesting unit mark of Baden
Another SOS "find", nice luger, but mismatched side plate and take down lever(both of which were butchered for some reason and ugly).
These are replacements that look better. Other parts are matching except right grip, which is an s/42 marked replacement. But the real reason for the purchase at a shooter price was due to the cool unit marking: GR. R. 109. 1. M.G.K. For the first Machine gun company of Grenadier Regiment No. 109 of Baden.

Seems to me like 1916 is for sure the "middle" of the 1914-1918 war!
JD knows that unit marking "tapered" off rapidly toward the end of the war! So it is indeed perhaps "late" for a unit marked luger.
