1937 S/42 Luger picture
Hello,
waited a long time to get that Luger shipped - today it came! The magazine is matching to the serial number. I think Mauser turned in the year 1937..with that model the rust bluing into salt bluing? Ser.Nr. is 54xx v (Photos thumbnailed by Admin-JS, Click on the thumbnail image to see the photos full size) <a href="http://boards.rennlist.com/lfupload/oberseite.jpg.jpg" target="_fullview"><img src="http://boards.rennlist.com/lfupload/oberseite.jpg.jpg" width="400" alt="Click for fullsize image" /></a> <a href="http://boards.rennlist.com/lfupload/li.jpg" target="_fullview"><img src="http://boards.rennlist.com/lfupload/li.jpg" width="400" alt="Click for fullsize image" /></a> |

Very nice gun Roland...
and you are correct that 1937 was the transition year from rust blue and strawed parts to full hot salt blue... you will find 1937 Lugers both ways...
