Verdigris
How do I remove verdigris from the inside of a very tight-fitting, long-barrel commercial holster?

Good idea Bill! Along that line..it's always best to try and remove it dry..No softeners or other solvents. Sometimes it's effective to use heat. Verdigris softens at heat above 100 degrees. Handy for wiping it off around studs etc.
