Hi Edward,

Nice Luger. Nice find. Congrats. Glad you could rescue it from a veteran so that a little of him can live on forever in the rememberance of that captured prize.

Happy D-day!

Hugh, when I told Terry (my wife) about the Luger, she said, "oh just buy it". So I am out of the market on gettin a new wife, I have finally broke her. (You and I know that isn't true, I'm at 20 years married and you have, 30 or so?

And although I love to shoot my Luger's, this one I will treat as a collectable and just stare at her for a while.

And that could be my wife or my gun Hugh <img src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" border="0" alt="[bigbye]" />

Cool Kidvet, it would be very interesting to find a consecutive # or one close to your number.

I think it would be great to pick up a number like close to one that you owned. Instead of a 4890 h to be 4890 i or 4890 f, a, b, etc.
