I re-watted a Maxim LMG 08/15 some years ago and as I recall I needed a top cover, the fusee spring and the lock assy. Maybe the booster. That's all. Nothing welded or otherwise rendered inoperable. Just file the paperwork, gather up the parts (many from the Sternbridge movie studio supplier) and throw it all together once the paperwork was approved.
That's why an old dewat will bring about the same money as "live". dju |
