That sign makes perfect sense to me. Those same devices are quite prominent in Az. as well.

I have lived and travelled all over Montana for 35 yrs. Can't say I have ever seen this sign. Fortunately we still have fairly loose gun ownership rights. But each year someone tries to tighten them. Bill

It is photo shopped. I've seen versions for almost every Red State.

Agree on PhotoShop - but what is a 'Red State'??? Does that refer to last presidential election???

Or is a 'Red State' the ones that Patrick Swayze fought in???

Yes, Rich, and even before that. It's the term applied to states that tip Republican. The "winner take all" system is inherently unfair, as are the gerrymandered electoral college and district setups. Actually, the U.S. is better represented in terms of violet and lavender when describing electorates. The "Red" and "Blue"nomenclature is over-simplified, indeed, and caters to those who see things only in dichotomous terms.

Check out the film Red State. It is full of gratuitous violence, a'la writer/director Kevin Smith, stars John Goodman and Michael Parks, and has an ending which is hilarious!
