, they do refer to a cerain SA Gruppe. This one would be SA Gruppe Pommern. |

Very interesting. That's the first Mauser side plate I've seen on a gun with a serial number with only two numeric digits.
It appears that the internal process stamped one plus the missing "00" leading digits, resulting in "1"... Now, I wonder how they internally stamped a serial number "9912a" gun... "100" or "0"? Marc
