I think it is absolutely amazing that more historical guns are being "discovered" all the time... The Internet has been a big factor in the identification of these guns... especially our forum.

Pete,
Thanks for the headsup. There was enough information from the photographs to fill in another data point in my survey, as well. --Dwight |

Hi Ron and Dwight,
Randy Bessler's inventory list dated 7-2-04 (the paper copy) has a US Test Eagle listed for sale. It is number # 6197...which I do not believe is on Ron's list, either. The footnote on Randy's list says the guns offered on the paper list will appear on his web site sometime after 7-16-04...so maybe there will be a photo or two for your survey, Dwight. Added link : http://www.collectorfirearms.us/Handgun/HG-78.htm Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |

Thanks for the info guys. I received a BUNCH of serial numbers from Sam Costanzo that I am trying to sort out and add to my database. When I get it all entered, I will publish new lists on the forum. Work on the new house is consuming a lot of my time, but I still try to relax doing Luger stuff...it just takes me more time.
