Default my 1913 needs a new barrel, where?

I have a 1913 Luger with an odd barrel that needs to be replaced. Who sells barrels, and do you need the entire pistol to headspace or just the upper slide/barrel assembly?

I am curious - Why does your odd barrel need replacing???

Is it bent???

Gerry Tomek, Tom Heller, and Peter Dunster all sell barrels, at various times. They can all be reached here on the forum.

Several forum members are capable of performing the swap. You may need to re-post in the "Wanted" column, but I suspect that someone will be along shortly.

Sheep, the chamber where the brass sits is very oversize, the barrel is beyond economical repair.

daskraut,
what is your intent/desire? Replace with a 4" barrel for shooting? Or a longer barrel again?

Do you want an original barrel or an aftermarket barrel?

9mm or 7.65mm?

Don, I want to bring this back to a shooter/serviceable condition pistol. I would love an 8" barrel as this looks like the original configuration, but if crazy expensive, I could deal with a 6" barrel. I am open to O.E.M. or new. 9mm BTW.
