Holster marking questions
I recently won a 1918 Erfurt on GB.com. About average shape, but all matching, and with "just the right amount" of patina.
Last night I was looking at the holster, a standard black military one, and noticed inside of the lid, first the maker name of "Albrecht & Noll Berlin 1915". Beside it there is a stamped rectangle, and within it in large font "T. B. 4". Also stamped nearby are the letters: "B A XIV" What's all that about? Thanks; dju |

T.B. means Train Bataillon; B.A.XIV means Bekleidungsamt 14. army corps
