Jan C Still Forum
I have for sometime been trying to access Mr. Jan C. Stills forum - German Lugers - Central Powers & Axis Pistol Forums. I think I am registerd with his sight as it seems to recognize me when i sign in but then quickly goes to an error message stating I "do not have permision to access this page". I am also registerd with "Gun Boards" which I think his site was a part of -- not sure completly on that point however. Am I missing a step in the request process ?? Is his Forum no longer active ? I did read through this Forum that it suffered a great loss (hacked ) back in 2003 I think it was. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Best Regards, Wayne |

I'm having no problem logging on to the Jan Still Luger Forum. Maybe try contacting one of the Forum Administrators to find out what is going on. They visit this site also.

Ed Tinker is moderator on both sites (this & Still's).
You can PM him here & explain your difficulty. http://forum.lugerforum.com/member.php?u=8

Alton
I remember that I had some initial problems on registering with J STILL's site, perhaps it'll take a litle bit of patience but then I'm sure you'll be able to log in. I would follow the advice to get in touch with some of the moderators. If you are seriously interested on LUGER pistols you must absolutely join also J. STILL's site, that , to me is a minefiled of precious information. Best regards Sergio

Zormpas -- Thanks for your reply -- I've been trying to gain access for several weeks now which prompted my post. Joining LugerForum was a breeze and very helpful - hopefully things will work themselves out !!

Sergio - thanks for your response. I sent a PM to Mr. Tinker last night -- hopefully he will be able to figure which button I haven't pushed correctly !! I completly agree with you about Mr. Still's site as an educationl/reference souce - time and again his site is cited in other places where I have been looking something up. Need all the help I can get - much to learn !!

Same issues on the Jan Still site
I registered but was never verified I guess. I can sign in but that is it. Every time I try to post or open anything I get the error message also. I wrote several times but no response. Thanks

Ed -- everything sorted out -- thanks !! What a great site !! Sergio, your point is well taken -- very easy for me to get into "Brain Overload" just on LugerForum - now with Mr. Still's site added to the mix -- gonna have to pace myself for sure !
