Well it's always good to look at a P. 08 that's for sale. Unfortunately on this one I don't see how anyone could decide to bid or not because not enough info is provided. It's a byf '41 with poor finish esp. on the barrel. The supplied description is useless with no comment on bore, mechanical function or if internal parts match. The description seems targeted at bidders who know nothing about Lugers, and offers no useful information on the specific gun. That the guy is talking about Lugers in movies yet not providing basic info on this pistol seems odd. When obvious questions are not answered I tend to assume the worst. I would not bid on it at any price because there is just not enough info. All visible numbers match, and '41 Mausers are certainly a desirable variation but that is not enough to mean it has value.

At least the pictures show the upper is a byf 41
But no serial number - no comment on being matching.... in person auctions are even more terrible for people bidding high on Plainfield carbines like they are WW2 carbines, etc
