Hello Viggo,

If you send me your e-mail address to "pebbink@pacbell.net", I can send you two photo scans of a stocked Borchardt...the book I have is still copyright-protected...

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

I thought the folks might like to see some closeup pics of how Borchardt stock attaches and tightens up. The gun is not a pretty as some of the ones seen here earlier (I wish it were), but this is stuff the formal catalog pics don't show.

Jim.

Thanks for sharing the pics. We get used to seeing pictures of perfect Borchardts, I'm glad to know that there are guns out there which show us that they've seen use.

Hello,
here is a picture of me with a friend. I am on the right with a Borchardt with stock. My friend has a Luger Carbine.

Ciao Mauro...

Since you have now "gone public" as an author, and also with your photo... may I please have your permission to post your photograph in the Lugerforum's Rogues Gallery?

Hi, Dwight,

One nice thing about having stuff that is not perfect is that you can tear it down and see how it works without worrying about taking thousands of dollars off the value by marring a screwhead.

If you use brass screwdrivers, you wont hurt the screws. Well worth the investment.
Tom
P.S. Or you could be like me and not take them apart.

For any aspiring Borchardt afficinados, I have a rather nice original holster that needs a home.

Jim,
Those are excellent and informative photos about Borchardt stock attachment. Although it may not be pristine, that is still a nice looking Loewe Borchardt. Since I am a serial number collector, I would like to know your gun's number if you would be so kind. If you don't want to post it on public forum, a private message would be great. Thanks
Ron
