An interesting Mauser Banner
Not sure where to post this one. It's a new one to me and an interesting combination of features:

How do you tell it is a Latvian Contract Luger??? I don't see any 'Latvian' markings...
And "Latvian Contract" implies a military connection... What is this really???

Datig has an interesting picture of what he calls an 1934/38 Latvian and Swedish Luger on pg 283...
I love the front sight, 4 3/4" barrel, and it is 9mm?...Looks Finnish... The auction is not what Datig has described...The serial # however, does fall into an order that Datig describes as being ordered by Latvia in 1939 for 150 pistols of "normal P08 specifications"...

Like I said, an interesting collection of features. .30 cal, commercial type markings, Mauser hump, later date, rust blue w/straw parts, etc.
