Douglas, the Land of Borchardt author is Charles Whittaker, an advanced luger collector, frequently seen at west coast USA gun shows. He contributed many photos of his extensive collection of luger manuals, literature and holsters to the Pistole Parabellum trilogy of Goertz and Sturgess. His own web site is fascinating and full of historic photos and information.
