Pocket revolver-folding trigger

Anyone here have information on these tiny revolvers? I know there were probably thousands made by different manufacturers.
This one appears to be chambered for 6.35 mm Browning, at least that is my guess. Belgian proofs I think. Pictures below.

Looks like a copy of the "Velo-Dog" revolver.

6.35mm is approximately .25 inches. Years ago I read about a conversion of a .22 rim fire pistol with a center fire Velo-Dog cartridge for shooting competition matches. Does this pistol fire a center fife cartridge?

I was "privileged" to fire one of the Velo-Dog guns in .22 short caliber back around 1963. Probably one of the more dangerous things I did back in those days... not something I would do today. They were JUNK.

6.35 caliber? Woah!

Imagine a time when pistols were actually marketed to the new breed of bycicle riders so they could shoot stray dogs chasing them!

The proofs are from Belgium - the place where most of such copies came from (together with those from Spain).

Doug, I had a situation when I lived in August GA back in 1975, where two very large and mean stray dogs would chase my car as I left my driveway for duty each morning. Not wanting to incur the wrath of my neighbors by shooting them in the middle of my residential street (Not to mention the wrath of the Richmond County Sheriff's Department), I pulled the old car door trick on them.

They were running along side right next to the driver door, barking and snarling at me. I opened the door about 25 miles per hour before reaching the stop sign at the end of the street, and both tried to jump up an bite me... unfortunately for them, just as they jumped, I made a panic stop and both hit the open car door HARD since they were off the ground and didn't have air brakes...

When they hit the ground, I just closed the door and drove off to work. They never chased my van again...

... I ended up shooting them both with a 12 ga pump and 00-Buckshot a few months later, ... but that's another story!
