Correct Belt & Magazine Pouch 1915 DWM
Again, I appreciate everyone's help with my questions re: my 1915 DWM rig.
Since I've got a matching (date correct) Luger holster, I thought why not see if I can find the correct belt and maybe an magazine pouch. I have no idea what an infantry soldier of the WWI period would have worn to carry this weapon. FYI ... the grip strap on my Luger indicates it was part of machine gun regiment, if that matters. Thanks again for help. I decided maybe I can enhance my rig setup a bit further. I think I found the correct Takedown tool thanks to the feedback here. Best to you all. - Jim |

Hi Jim, Magazine pouches were only issued with Navy and Artillery Lugers, neither of which had provision for a spare magazine incorporated in their holsters.

Norm, I agree with you for WW1 guns but post WW1 there are pictures of police with them. I have always assumed they were from WW1 and I have not owned any that were police marked, and don't remember if I have seen any.
