Mauser Carbine sold on Simpsons
I thought I understood the red tape you have to go through to obtain a NFA firearm...I spent 7 months jumping through the hoops to buy a Uzi submachine gun a few years back. Simpsons just sold a Mauser carbine Luger made in 1979 with a 12" barrel,....as its not an original 1900 or 1920 carbine, wouldn't it fall under the ATF regulations as a short-barreled rifle?
Beautiful Luger, though......it went for 8K.....too rich for my blood, I'm just waiting to hear that Dwight got it !! I'm snowed/sleeted/iced in in Columbia SC today with nothing to do but surf the net......this item lasted a whole 2 hours before it sold! |

The Mauser Parabellum carbine made in the '70's/80's was exempted from NFA restrictions several years ago, and now transfers as any other C&R.

Well, apart from the fact that I know virtually nothing about Mauser Parabellum Carbines, at a gunshop not to far from where I live they are selling a carbine for Euro 15,000.00 (equivalent of about USD 20,359.00).
I've seen it not long ago but I would not spend such a fortune without knowing exactly what I'm buying.

Patrice,
It's not that far from Marseille, it's in a gunshop in the centre of Turin.
