I might reload at some point - but I have so many interests and hobbies as it is, at this point I'd just rather buy the ammo and shoot it!

For sure, handloading is not for everyone. There are many reasons why one might choose to not give it a go. I enjoy it, but I have the time and interest, plus I try to shoot 1-2/week.

You can make cases from 41 long colt, but the rims must be turned down, requires a Lathe. Starline makes the brass. I do not have a Nambu but have cases since I own a 41 colt revolver. There is an article in a old "Handloaders Diqest" that describes making the cases and has loading data, I believe Bullseye was used. However, I do not recall which edition it is?

Rich is right about reloading, it's part of the fun of going to the range.
I tend to reload when my daughter has gone to bed and nobody is bound to call me so I concentrate on what I'm doing. It's quite relaxing (at least to me it is) and especially if you shoot a lot as I do you save a lot of money. (Sorry I only wanted to add my 2 cents without going off topic)

I'm quite sure reloading is fun, and money saving as well. Someday, perhaps - after retirement might allow for it. Right now, its hard to keep up with everything else that I do, I'm not quite ready to add yet another hobby!

There will be a new Japanese made Pacific war related movie "永遠の0" in December. Name can be translated into "0 Forever", the number probably refers to the famous Japanese WWII fighter plane "Zero". Detail unknown, could be interesting.

I also own a type 14 . The first mistake I made was dry firing the pistol. Do NOT dry fire this antique. The firing pin Will break. I have a Japanese Helmet from Guadalcanal and a Japanese battle flag from Negros Island in the Phillippeans that my father brought home. He took it off a dead Soldier after a Banzai charge at night. He was a forward observer and paratrooper with the 503rd PIR. He passed away four years ago and it wasn't until 3 moths before his death that he talked to me about his Wartime Service. Good luck with your Nambu, you have anice example . Craig
