These pictures mean a lot; especially since I just made a tour of Pearl Harbor. What an experience. It makes collecting Lugers even more enjoyable.

They are really beautiful photos, I think they should be absolutely shown to younger generations; what a relief it must have been for millions of people all over the world when the WW2 ended.
At the moment I'm reading a book written by a veteran of the Italian Army that together with other 300.000 young conscriptors in 1941 was sent to the russian front and was taken prisoner by the Red Army near the river Don. Only 60.000 of them came back.
