Is there any exception(s) to the toggle code on Lugers in the 9000-10,500 range,i.e., must they all have the Gothic S/42 code? Is it ever possible that a 9,000+ K Date might have a scriptic/latin S code.
Your help would be greatly appreciated as I have found a fourth variation K that looks good except for the S/42 toggle code. |

I think there are four or five types of k dates.
Have you done a search on the forum? What books do you have? I moved this from the technical help area to new collector area. Ed

Ed, I have reviewed Lugers at Random, searched the internet and checked out The Forums K Date thread, and am totally clueless. Thank you so much for putting my request in the Know-Just-Enough-To-Be-Dangerous Category. Once again, thank you so much, for putting me in the category that will likely be of most help. Dan

Don Hallock and Joop van de Kants Book " The Mauser Parabellum 1930=1946" has a long discussion on the K date and their various variations. Bill
