George, this happened to me a few days ago...a guy (not member of the forum) asked for some photos, I took the photos, sent many photos by several emails, no answer. I emailed him today, he replied laconically "not interested"...
Ebay: I don't sell on ebay anymore, I just buy.
Paypal: I only pay with PP (buyers protection). I do not accept payments anymore except from buyers I know. I adopt the german practice: bank transfers only !

I sold a few items on ebay, received payment via paypal. The real pain is their service fee. No major buyer issue yet,,,,,, except one buyer wanted to return a vest pocket pistol magazine back to me, saying it's for Baby Browning and I wrongly described it as FN 1905 magazine (?) He wanted to get his $5 back. Actually, that magazine fits and works on 1905 well. I simply refunded him and gave him the magazine for free.
