New to forum
Hey guys
New to the Luger world. Always wanted one ......but never bought one. Came across one at my LGS . Bought it! Cleaned it . Cycled it and finally SHOT it! The gun runs great just a mag issue Want to get some info DWM 1429C 1920 1918 Dates on top Looks like #28 in proof marks ....nitro commercial proof Can anyone tell me a little about it? Thanks |

welcome to the forum. Whats an LGS? local gun shop?
Nitro commercial proof would be wrong for a war time 1918 / the 1920 is a gov't stamp showing it was army property and that serial number range All matching?

Local gun shop. Seems like all numbers match. Except mag. Looks like it has been restored . Has a 'crown'N Proof mark |

Generally, a wartime Luger would be military proofed, rather than Crown/N proofed. Post some pictures when you can.

pj- sounds like a nice acquisition. When you say restored, do you mean refinished? What type of ammo did you shoot in it and How was the accuracy?
