Hey guys

New to the Luger world. Always wanted one ......but never bought one.

Came across one at my LGS . Bought it! Cleaned it . Cycled it and finally SHOT it!

The gun runs great just a mag issue

Want to get some info DWM 1429C

1920
1918

Dates on top

Looks like #28 in proof marks ....nitro commercial proof

Can anyone tell me a little about it?

Thanks

welcome to the forum. Whats an LGS? local gun shop?

Nitro commercial proof would be wrong for a war time 1918 / the 1920 is a gov't stamp showing it was army property and that serial number range

All matching?

Generally, a wartime Luger would be military proofed, rather than Crown/N proofed. Post some pictures when you can.

Default New luger

pj- sounds like a nice acquisition. When you say restored, do you mean refinished? What type of ammo did you shoot in it and How was the accuracy?
