Opinions on this one, old auction
Was looking for opinions on this one, was wondering what others thought of the final price considering the holster, extra mag, and loading tool. Have been told that this is a Police Rework, with a replacement barrel, toggle, and armorers replacement grips....was also looking for opinions/ideas why the serial is double stamped on the sideplate? Thanks, Chris...
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=344052549 Secondly (different pistol), and this is definitely ballpark (no photos, etc.), what is a DWM 1915 all matching (minus mismatched magazine), 90% bluing worth approximately? My ballpark from looking at completed auctions, etc. is about 850-950$? |

These things price is relative price. According to the ballpark of the 2nd one being $850-$950, the 1st one could be 50% of that. I don't track the price, but think in the way of being "attractive". If 1st one is $425-$475, it becomes attractive.
If 2nd one's ballpark were $2000, the 1st one would be attractive at $1000. If 2nd one's ballpark were $500, the 1st one would be $250. Just a theory. |

It's received a sear safety at some point in the early 30's likely but the acceptance and proof on the right look fairly crisp, so I would say not been fully reworked.
I would say first one price is pretty good if all matching, and the holster, tool and one mag was a nice bonus of a free $300 The second one, no comment if I can't see it.
