Default Luger Tool - ID

I came across this tool and not sure what I have. It's not in the greatest condition. Is there a source of information to help identify the stamping? Thanks,

Hi Roger, Collectors call this mark DE/63 (droop winged eagle over 63). This Mauser tool dates from 1935 to 1937.
Regards, Norm

Norm, thanks for the information. Based on your description, I see the drooped wing eagle, but not the "63" under it. Should I be able to see it?

Hi Roger, Trust me, it's a 63. The dies used to stamp these marks deteriorated over time and needed to be replaced frequently. Towards the end of their lives they would produce almost illegible marks. Here are photos of one of my DE/63 marked tools.
Regards, Norm

Norm, thanks, always learning. I'm happy to have the marked tool and knowing it's for a 1935 to 1937 Mauser P.08. About 14 years ago I bought an RC P.08 shooter from a Shotgun News ad. It turned out to be a Mauser G date S/42 matching gun. It's dipped and import marked, along with the dreaded X, so I don't feel uncomfortable shooting it. Now I have a tool of the same vintage. Thanks again.
